This always means I need something extra simple without a mile-long ingredients list. So if you’re in the same boat, this recipe is for you, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint in the flavor department.

This chicken is also a favorite of mine to meal prep for the week ahead. Once it’s all chopped up, it’s easy to use in all sorts of things and make quick salads for lunches. The best part about this recipe is all the flavor, no bland, boring chicken around these parts for sure!

Step 1: First, we’ll mix all the spices together.

Step 2: Stir the avocado oil until a loose paste forms. This helps the chicken stay moist, and it’s much easier to coat the chicken with the spices when you first mix them with oil.

Step 3: Next, coat the chicken breasts in the spices.

Step 4: Finally, bake the chicken until it’s just done in the center before serving with your choice of sides.

- 1/2 tsp granulated garlic - unsalted
- 1 tsp granulated onion - unsalted
- 1 tsp sea salt - or to your taste
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp avocado oil - or olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 450ºF.
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices. Add the oil and stir to form a loose paste. Coat the chicken breasts in the spice mixture, and lay them in an 8-9" square baking dish.
- Bake the chicken until it’s done in the center, or a thermometer reads 165ºF, or about 15-20 minutes for 8-ounce chicken breasts.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and serve with your choice of sides.
